    The first rapid trigger controller

With conventional buttons, the mechanism was that when you release the button and it rises to a certain position, input is turned off.
However, the Rapid Trigger uses a mechanism that turns off input the moment you release the button, allowing for more intuitive operation.
Have you ever had the experience of walking forward to guard...but getting hit? It's not your fault, but the mechanism of the previous buttons may be to blame.

    Customizable actuation point

This controller allows you to change the actuation point to your preferred position, so try to find the setting that is most comfortable for you.

The world's first "CHERRY MX Inductive Silver Switch"

"Rapid Trigger" requires extremely precise processing due to its mechanism.

For that reason, it is said to be "difficult to stabilize its operation." However, after repeated technical testing, this switch has succeeded in stabilizing the operation of the "Rapid Trigger."

It also boasts "incredible durability." A normal mechanical switch is considered extremely durable even with a durability of 100 million presses, but this switch can withstand an amazing 200 million presses! For fighting games where you press buttons hard and often, a switch that combines this stability and durability can be said to be the optimal solution.

"Support" to further improve typing feel

We insert supports between the buttons.
This reduces the shaking of the buttons and improves stability and durability.
*Please note that this "support" is not a "burr."

    Pre-press buttons, 1.5mm travel

The switch itself has a travel of 4mm.
For faster triggering, we specially designed the keycaps.
The total triggering travel is reduced to 1.5mm.

Now they are quick, responsive, and rebound back quickly.

    Varmilo Web Driver

Varmilo developed web drivers for its products, and the first product to use it was FK2.

All you have to do is put the controller into "PC mode", connect it to your PC, and access the website.
There's no need for troublesome tasks like "changing by button operation" or "installing special software."

    keys

How many buttons do you need?

We consulted with professional gamers and streamers with experience in fighting games to determine the number of buttons that would be suitable for any game.
One question that arose in our mind was, "Is it enough to just add buttons to a conventional shape?"
To verify this, we actually developed a prototype and played it. We carefully considered, "What is the appropriate layout for this number of buttons?" and designed it for the fighting games of the future.

    MODE

    Suitable for use in competitions

Many fighting game tournaments are already in full swing. It is not difficult to predict that many more tournaments will be held in the future.

In particular, one thing that is strictly regulated in the rules of tournaments is the "processing of simultaneous presses (SOCD cleaner)." The VARMILO FK2 allows for more flexible settings than leverless controllers on the market, and allows you to set simultaneous presses of "up, down, left, right" individually. It can handle any game that is released now or in the future.

It also has a "Lock" function, which disables the "START button" and other buttons, preventing you from accidentally pressing the "START button" during a match and being disqualified.

    Scenes

    Lap or desk

Of course, everyone's body shape is different, and so is the "optimum height" for a controller. If it's too high, it's "difficult to play on a desk," and if it's too low, "you have to lift your feet when you put it on your lap." We took both of these into consideration to come up with a height that perfectly balances the controller's usability. Also, it's not just the "height" that determines how easy it is to use a controller. If it's not heavy enough, it won't feel stable, and if it's not wide enough, you'll feel stressed while playing. We designed it without compromising on anything, including "ease of putting it on your lap, on a desk, and carrying it around."

    Case

The "case" is not just for carrying

With the increase in professional gamers traveling and going to game centers, and more recently offline competitions, the culture of carrying controllers is also taking root, isn't it? That's why we decided to include a special case with the VARMILO FK2.
However, this is not just a case for storage; you can also place it under the controller to "adjust the height."

    Noise

The problem with arcade controllers: "noise"

Compared to arcade controllers with levers, leverless controllers make less noise. However, by their very nature, fighting games involve hitting a lot of buttons repeatedly.
Even if you don't mind it, people around you may find it annoying, or the sound may reveal your strategy.
However, when it comes to "sound," keyboard manufacturers can really show their skills. Based on their development experience, the internal structure has been designed to be optimally quiet. We hope you enjoy the pleasant sound of the keys.

    Almost perfect indeed

The customizability of the switch actuation is indeed a blessing for someone who wants to do different things with movement and attack buttons. One thing I would hope for though is that you could assign any button twice on the board. Sure you can switch the button layout and assignment around, but you can only have one of each input. Would be helpful if you could assign two up input buttons for example. Should be a pretty easy software change and I'm looking forward to that happening.

    Almost perfect

After almost a month of use. I'm pleased to say FK2 offers an unmatched performance, thanks to its buttons. They are quick, responsive, and rebounds back quick. The buttons also feels and sound nice to smack because of the case and internal padding. The build quality is top and it has a nice hefty weight to it, although I prefer something lighter when it comes to leverless controllers. So, overall, you get highest end controller with unique feeling at an unbeatable price.

However, there are some ancillary stuff which could use some improvement. They are as follow:
-The option buttons are too stiff and small. Can be very tiresome to use during training sessions.
-The lack of retailer options. Which can make shipping very expensive depending on your location.
-Lack of customization/options when it comes to artwork and button layout.

My thoughts after using the fk2 for 2 days
    1) The fk2 webdriver help/guide is good and simple. only issue is that I dont know if the setting is saved after making changes to switch motion

    2) the switches are too squishy/soft for me but still useable

Thank you for your review of the FK2. We're glad to hear that our guide was helpful for you. Regarding your concern about the settings, we'd like to inform you that they are indeed saved in real time. Simply click on the button you want to view, and our driver will display the corresponding settings. Please keep in mind that when all buttons are selected, the settings of a certain button may not be displayed. We hope this clarifies things for you. Happy gaming!

Fantastic value, with just a flaw and a caviat

The FK2 is a fantastic controller for anyone looking to play fighting games either casually or, more realistically, a competitive level. It being a leverless using magnetic hall effect switches gives is a huge advantage over a large majority of other leverless style controllers on the market, both in comparison to the big names as well as the other competitors options. If you're already familiar with keyboards, think of it as a Wooting, but for fighting games.

The buttons, fantastic. Switches feel great to press. The acoustics are great for people who game late night. The rubberized padding on the bottom works well, and the carry case is so nice to have, especially if you tend to travel for locals. It feels like a premium keyboard in an alternate skin.

My only gripe with it is the web driver itself. Every time I reconnect it to the driver, it seems like all of my rapid trigger settings have "reset", and I'm not entirely if they have put not. It just visually says that it did, even though I don't really think that it does. It's not too much trouble, but I personally like to know for sure that they haven't. Three clarity of it isn't great (I could just be slow), and having the ease-of-mind for me is important.

I also am not entirely sure on the SOCD cleaner, everything works in my testing and experience, but I feel the "Off" option doesn't quite really. I tried it in Melty Blood AACC, just because that game has very expansive and robust movement options, and it didn't feel right with doing j9 or doing sj9 dj8. I would like to throw out the I'm pretty washed up, but that command isn't hard to do at all.

Overall tl;dr, fantastic product, great bang for you buck and a really great option. it doesn't have a brooks UFB or anything, but for the price you can't really ask for one. If you're reading this you probably already have a Brook Wingman so that doesn't matter.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review for our FK2 controller.
We're glad to hear that you find it to be a fantastic value and that the buttons and switches meet your expectations.
We actually use CHERRY MX Multipoint Silver Switch, which may differ from the magnetic hall effect switches you mentioned, but the effect is similar and it's specifically designed for high-intensity fighting games.
We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with the web driver settings.
Rest assured, the settings are saved in real time and can be viewed by clicking the corresponding button. We are continuously working on improving the display and appreciate your feedback on this matter.
Thank you for choosing our product and we hope you continue to enjoy using it.
    Happy gaming!
