Sound, stabilizers, original key caps, all materials: 10/10. Software side... a bit disappointing. If only there was a way to define color of individual sections. Some niche keyboards offer dual-color aphas/mods effect that would be a good start to build upon, but it is not present on Hygge nor do I see any guide to flash it onto the firmware... I mean I guess it is advanced stuff, some people claim it is fully reversible and won't permanently brick the device. If true, some support or guide would be appreciated.

I recommend switching key caps to anything with shine-trough. Just got mine from DROP (silver, legend on the bottom side) and instantly leveled up experience for coding after sunset.

The VA80 Hygge is my first mechanical keyboard. It fully meets my expectations — it's solid and very well crafted. It sounds great!
My purchase went smoothly: it was delivered quickly and arrived in a nice box. The price seems quite good for the quality. If only there were no customs duties to pay......

I have had this keyboard for almost 2 weeks and it has been a dream so far! The design is great and the switches are even better. I wanted a silent keyboard and picked this one based off of a handful of reviews. There is little fatigue when typing and it is a wonderful blend of thocky/deep while still being quiet. As another review had mentioned I would recommend watching HipyoTech’s video on this keyboard if you are on the fence.

For the price I do think you can probably build something that is of better quality (aluminum vs plastic) but for an out of the box, no fuss experience, you can't go wrong.

On top of being sufficiently silent the keyboard feels very satisfying to type on.

Build quality feels great and even though this keyboard features a distinct design, you can still take advantage of it's hot-swappable feature, because decorative panels to the right are magnetic and can be easily replaced with a neutrally black ones. Very thoughful indeed.

The keyboard body has a dedicated slot for a usb dongle and one of the magnetic panels.

The top right area above Insert, Home and Page Up keys is not functional at all. It could be a free real estate for more features, but i personally do like it more minimalistic and appreciate that no unnecessary screens/knobs were added.

The shipping to Europe was rather painful. With all the shipment and import costs the keyboard becomes significantly less affordable, but i still think it is worth the money.

I love this keyboard; I used to have a Huntsman V2, which was super loud. This keyboard is everything you could hope for and more. Just don't pay for expedited 2 day shipping—I got it at the same predicted time as normal shipping (5 days later). It was a waste of money.

Switches truly sound amazing, solved my issue of having too loud of a keyboard while still keeping the functionality of a mechanical keyboard.

Build quality is great, and the keyboard sounds nice and deep with the prestige silent switches. Highly recommended!

I like this keyboard a lot! It is nice to type on, and with the silent switches it is very very quiet.

The downside is that mine suffers from a bit of stuttering. It happens about 2-3 times a day and then it yields between 10 and 15 copies of a letter even though I only pressed the corresponding key once.

Not sure if this is an issue with the driver, firmware, electronics or some of the switches. But I'm suspecting the driver since it once hanged on the letter 'e' and kept generating 'e':s even after I disconnected the keyboard (I had to restart the computer to stop them!).

For the moment I've switched to another keyboard on the same USB port to try to isolate the problem. No problem in the last two days since then.
