The shipping was fast and the product overall seems very well made but there are a few things that need to be fixed in the next version. First the back plate. The magnetic back plate is a great idea but it comes with a cheap plastic pull tab. At $300 this tab should be leather or have some sort of cutout, the plastic tab is both cheap looking and feeling. Next is the power cable. The spring design is interesting and a unique idea but this stick needs its own separate removable usb c power cable. As of now if the retractable power cord ever dies there is no easy way to replace it. The picture on the website shows that new versions should have this feature built in but it wasn't on my limited edition. Last there are no light up buttons so you cannot see the custom button art in the dark. The buttons don't even light up white. Again at $300 you would think think this feature would come standard as other cheaper sticks like the Qanba Q8 come out of the box with this feature. Overall this is a beautiful stick that works well with very responsive buttons but if these features can be fixed in newer versions it will be a perfect 5 stars.

I couldn't be happier with this stick. The limited edition gold is gorgeous, and it comes with a choice of balltops. I chose the natural wood one. The buttons look great with the planets on them, there is storage on the bottom with a magnetic closure, the stick pops on and off easily, the cable is retractable, and there is a handle and carrying strap. Great purchase!

Absolutely love this product i wish there was a compartment for the cable but everything is is top tier quality. Definitely keeping varmilo on my radar, will be order the HA10 soon.

I bought this product with my own money, these words are my opinion and mine alone. The Varmilo Kassai is an expertly crafted Arcade stick that uses top quality parts for its construction. The star of the show are the buttons. They are pre pressed so they have a very LOW profile which means pretty near instant actuation, next to the fact they are using the Cherry inductive silver switches which use magnets like hall-effect joysticks they are precise and pretty wear resistant. I love how they are quick disconnect/connect for easy changes for the buttons. so when they inevitably make new button styles you can swap them with ease. I also really love how the buttons are smaller than industry standard being 22 millimeters compared to the standard 24-30 millimeter buttons it allows for a smaller tighter button layout that I find to be quite comfortable. Now for the cons. The bottom access door for the joystick, I LOVE the idea of it but I do not like the plastic pull tab to open it. I wish there was a little hole to just put my finger under it to open it or like a kind of "lever" that like pops up on a swivel that you can just pull up from the center that is just formed from the metal door itself. I also wish that the side walls of the controller were just about an inch taller so you could use your favorite korean style levers. the only other downside I could find out of the other two was on the base version of the controller I wish there was an internal USB expansion slot so you could add an aftermarket converter such as the brookFGC wingman or the mayflash magic boot. All in all the Kassai is still a 10 out of 10 and I would recommend it to any player weather new to the arcade stick scene or verterans alike

@ The price of $199.99 for the Obsidian Black seems Promising considering it's made from aluminum. The build looks great, and you can't go wrong with the button placement. I also like the fact of having 11 buttons and their placement looks thought out. I'm a fan, will like to take this controller for a spin
